APOC Wire is a press release distribution service operated by APOC Co., Ltd., a company based in Tokyo, Japan.
Who we are
We started APOC Wire because getting a press release into overseas media was harder and more expensive than it needed to be. Companies with something worth announcing were quoted project-sized budgets to reach a handful of markets, or sent English-only releases into countries where nobody reads English news.
We built the alternative: one price per country, a native speaker translating every release, and a report that shows you exactly where it landed.
Today we distribute for several hundred clients and publish in markets across the world.

How we work
We publish, and we distribute. Your release is published on APOC Wire with a permanent URL, and distributed onward through media partners, news aggregators, RSS feeds, and external wire services in your target market.
We work with media partners in each country. We hold media partnership agreements with outlets in the markets we serve. Those relationships are why we can commit to minimum coverage levels in some countries rather than simply sending a release and hoping.
Every release is translated by a person. We work with several dozen translators covering languages worldwide. A native speaker of the target language handles your release — not a machine translation with a light edit on top.
Every release is read before it goes out. We check submissions against our Content Standards. A newswire that publishes anything stops being worth reading, and media partners notice.
Where we draw the line
We are paid to distribute your release. We are not paid to place editorial coverage, and we do not pay journalists or outlets to write about our clients.
If a journalist writes an original article about your announcement, that is their editorial decision. We report it to you when it happens, and we tell you plainly when it does not.
