Content Standards
Last updated: June 24, 2026
These Content Standards describe the editorial and distribution principles that govern content submitted to APOC Wire and the GlobalPress distribution service (the “Service”), operated by APOC Co., Ltd. They exist to maintain the quality, trust, and integrity that our media partners, news aggregators, and readers expect.
Our Role
APOC Wire is a press release distribution platform. We distribute press releases and related materials on behalf of the issuing companies and organizations, or their authorized partners. APOC is not the author of submitted content. Published information reflects the views and statements of the issuing party and does not represent the views of APOC.
All Industries Welcome
We accept press releases across all industries and categories. We do not impose category-based restrictions on legitimate business and organizational announcements; the standards below apply equally to every category we serve.
Prohibited Content and Senders
Regardless of category, we do not accept or distribute content that falls into, or originates from, the following:
- Adult or sexually explicit content, or content that is pornographic or obscene.
- Gambling, betting, wagering, or related promotional content.
- Political content, including partisan campaigning, election advocacy, or content primarily intended to promote or oppose a political party, candidate, or cause.
- Submissions from organized crime groups, “anti-social forces,” or any individual or entity affiliated with them.
- Content that is illegal or that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- False, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, or unsubstantiated content, including misinformation and deceptive financial or investment schemes.
- Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, defamation, or content that incites violence.
- Content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
- Malware, phishing, spam, or content that links to malicious or harmful destinations.
- Content involving weapons, illegal drugs, or other regulated goods where distribution would be unlawful.
Editorial and Distribution Policy
- We distribute releases for which distribution rights have been granted by the issuer or an authorized partner.
- The same announcement may be distributed across multiple language and country editions. Translated editions are intended to convey the meaning of the original accurately, and we strive to preserve consistency across editions.
- We may edit or reformat submissions for length, formatting, or technical compatibility with distribution channels, without altering their substantive meaning.
- Published information represents the issuer's views and statements, not those of APOC.
Sourcing and Attribution
Each release is attributed to the issuing company or organization as its source. APOC does not independently verify the claims made in submitted content and assumes no responsibility for their accuracy.
Corrections and Updates
We value the accuracy of published information and act promptly when an error is identified.
- When an error or necessary update is found in a published release, we may make corrections or updates based on a request from the issuer or our own verification.
- For significant corrections, we handle them in a manner that makes the correction reasonably clear.
- To report a correction or update, contact support@apocc.co.jp and include the URL of the relevant release and the details of the correction.
Removal and Rights Complaints
APOC respects the rights of third parties. If you believe that published content infringes a copyright or other right, or that there is a legitimate legal basis for removal, contact support@apocc.co.jp and include:
- The URL of the relevant release;
- Your name and contact information;
- The nature of the right and the reason you are requesting removal or alleging infringement; and
- If you are the rights holder, an explanation of your ownership of the right.
Where a request is verified as legitimate, we will promptly remove or amend the relevant content as appropriate.
Right to Refuse
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without liability, to reject, delay, edit, decline to distribute, or remove any submission that we determine does not meet these Content Standards or that we otherwise consider inappropriate.
