Different where it matters

Overseas press release distribution has a reputation: opaque pricing, machine translation, and a report that gives you a number instead of an answer.

We built APOC Wire to fix those four things specifically.

1. One price, and nothing added on

USD 300 per country, per release. Translation, distribution, images, copy check, and your full media pickup report are all inside that number.

There is no add-on menu. No priority fee, no per-image fee, no reporting fee, no platform fee. You can budget a distribution campaign in your head, in one step, before you talk to anyone.

Traditional overseas distribution is priced per market and per circuit, with third-party vendor costs passed through to you. Reaching several countries turns into a project-sized budget and a quote you have to wait for.

2. A person translates every release

A native speaker of the target language translates your release. Not machine translation with a light edit on top — a translator who reads the market your release is going into.

Send us your release in your own language. Company names, job titles, product names, units, dates, and the difference between how a Japanese release opens and how a local one does are all handled by someone who knows both sides.

We work with several dozen translators covering languages worldwide.

3. A coverage commitment we pay for

In 18 countries we commit to a minimum of 10 media pickups per release. If a release does not reach 10 outlets, we refund that country’s fee in full — and you do not need to ask for it.

We do not extend that commitment to every market. In countries where we do not have the media relationships to back it up, we say so, and we do not make a promise we cannot keep. A commitment that applies everywhere usually means it applies nowhere.

4. A report you can actually check

Your report names every outlet that picked up your release, with the live URL, the outlet’s category, and its estimated monthly traffic. It shows where your release ranks in Google in the target country. And it tells you plainly whether any journalist wrote an original article — or whether what you got was reprints.

We publish a real client report in full, on this site, so you can read it before you spend anything.

We publish, not just distribute

Your release is published on APOC Wire with a permanent URL, then distributed onward through media partners, news aggregators, RSS feeds, and external wire services.

That first part matters more than it sounds. An email pitch to a journalist disappears into an inbox. A published release stays indexed by search engines, stays readable by AI answer engines, and stays citable — months after the news cycle has moved on.

Every release carries NewsArticle structured data and appears in our news sitemaps and country feeds, so machines can find it as easily as people can.

Built for companies going outward

We are based in Tokyo, and we built this service around a problem we kept watching Japanese companies run into: a strong announcement, no way to get it in front of overseas media at a price anyone would approve.

That shapes how we work. We take your release in your own language. We put a native speaker on the translation rather than asking you to supply English. We can sign a service agreement and invoice you rather than requiring a card, and we have done so with publicly listed Japanese companies.

It also works in the other direction: overseas companies use us to reach Japanese media, for the same reasons in reverse.

Where we draw the line

We are paid to distribute your release. We are not paid to place editorial coverage, and we do not pay journalists or outlets to write about our clients.

If a journalist writes an original article about your announcement, that is their editorial decision. We report it when it happens, and we tell you plainly when it does not.

We also read every release before it goes out. A newswire that publishes anything stops being worth reading, and media partners notice quickly.
